Sustainably Grown Fruits, Veggies, Eggs, Honey, Smoking Wood, and Animals
Grown with care on our hillside homestead in Letart, West Virginia. We raise happy, free-ranging animals and grow fresh produce by the season. Our honey is raw and local, our eggs gathered daily, and our wood air-dried naturally. No shortcuts, no chemicals—just real food and farm goods you can trust. Rooted in sustainability, every harvest supports our land, our family, and yours. We believe in working with the land, not against it. Each fruit, vegetable, and egg comes from hands-on, small-scale care. Our bees forage native blooms, and our wood is harvested only from fallen limbs or pruned trees. Everything we sell is something we use ourselves, right here at home.
Come taste the difference a small farm makes—and be part of something real.

Fresh Seasonal Produce
At Harvest and Hive Farms, everything we grow and make is guided by the seasons and the land we live on. From fresh fruits and vegetables to handcrafted products like raw honey, herbal goods, and firewood for smoking, our offerings change throughout the year—just like nature intended.
We believe in quality over quantity. That means you won’t find mass-produced, out-of-season produce here. Instead, you’ll get what’s fresh, local, and in its prime—harvested by hand and produced with care. Whether it’s summer-ripe tomatoes, sweet blueberries, crisp apples, or homemade honey sticks, you’ll taste the difference in every bite.
We update our seasonal availability often, so check back regularly—or better yet, follow us on social media to see what’s fresh this week.
Pure Raw Honey
Our honey is as real as it gets—pure, raw, and harvested right here on our West Virginia hillside. Produced by bees that forage wildflowers, fruit blossoms, and native plants across our land, every jar is unfiltered, unheated, and packed with local flavor and natural benefits. From hive to bottle, it’s honey the way nature intended.
Sustainably Sourced Smoking Wood
Our smoking wood is hand-harvested from fallen limbs and pruned trees right here on the farm. We air-dry apple, cherry, hickory, peach, and other hardwoods with care—never cutting live trees—so you get clean, aromatic smoke with every burn. Perfect for grilling, barbecuing, or smoking meats the natural way.

Hello World! How Harvest and Hive Farms Came to Life
A year ago, our lives looked very different. We were living in…
A Family Tradition Rooted in Nature
Our story didn’t start here—it started generations ago, in greenhouses, gardens, and flower beds tended with care and intention. I grew up surrounded by soil, sunlight, and science. My father, a PhD in biochemistry and physiology, spent over 20 years as a professor of horticulture at The Ohio State University. He passed on more than knowledge—he gave me a love for growing, a respect for the natural world, and a sense that working with the land is a lifelong craft. I carried that passion into my own journey, including years running a retail garden store in Columbus.
Danielle’s roots are just as deep. Her mother had a gift for flowers and filled her world with color, beauty, and grace. She passed away on August 31, 2024, but her spirit blooms in every bed we plant and every bouquet we gather. Together, we carry on the legacy of two strong families who found healing, joy, and purpose in the earth.
At Harvest and Hive Farms, this isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. Every seed we plant, every harvest we share, is part of something much bigger. A tribute to where we came from, and a promise to those we love.
